Re: Jagged edges in shadow from environment

no because the env map is just a low resolution map so that shadow you see isn't cast by Raylectron but part of the map, it's in the map image already, for thsi particular map that is. If you switch to Performance mode and rotate around (turn on Follow Camera in the enc map setting) you'll see the s...

Re: Portals

the ROF alone will not work as it need the texture folder and the cfg file. You also sent me the Kitchen only so I can't use that. However, by the look of the sun, it looks like it's very low, like late afternoon, almost sunset, so it's notmal that it isn't as bright as it would be at noon. Also, wh...

Re: Portals

First, remove the Portals, no need for them. Second, convert your glass material to Glass because you have them as blue and 50% transparent, that's going to let in less than 50% of the outside light in. This is what I did and rendered it for 30 sec...

Re: Portals

Hi, First, you have only one side of the face set as a portal, it should be on front and back, better yet, group it and set the portal material to the group not the faces and leave the faces as Default material. Even better yet, you no longer need to create portals in Grain Free mode, they are autom...

Re: Error in viewing my Model ! then the model does not show !

It's not a good GPU for rendering, only good for games, it only has 768 cores when the minimum is 1500+

I would use the CPU version, grain free and converge much faster than the GPU.

Simply design your fixture as it is in real life and do the same with the light bulb, you'll then get the real effect it's suppose to give.

Re: RAYLECTRON V4,99 WHERE ARE RAY,PATH AND PHOTON TRACE

The GPU is not faster than the CPU, or, your computer would run only on a GPU. It may be faster at times but it depend of the model. However, the CPU is faster because it is "grain free" and the GPU is not. The larger your model, the slower it will be on the GPU. The activation is for both...

Re: RAYLECTRON V4,99 WHERE ARE RAY,PATH AND PHOTON TRACE

These options were available only in v3. In the new v4, there is no need for these options because the new and improved rendering engine is much better.

Re: Bouble image rendered

Because when light enter a solid glass, it is refracted, then, when it exist the glass, it is again refracted, almost back to its original path so very little distortion occur. In your case, the glass is not solid, so when it is refracted (which depend on the angle at which it enters) and the ray is...

Re: Bouble image rendered

If your glass are not solid, you need to remove the IOR value for it and set the sine to 10 or so. The way it looks now I can almost guaranty that it's not solid.

That is because your glass isn't make and textured properly. Is it a single face or is it solid (push pulled)?
