Re: Grass?
the reason for that post id for how many blades per area and doing that in mm is not so easy. But regardless, you enter the values according to life size, no matter if you use mm, inches etc.

Re: Grass
I don't know where you got this suggestion from but all you need to do is use the "Convert material" drop down list button and select "Grass" (using whatever unit you like, in my case, mm) then adjust the number of blades per area to like 0.1 or another number that will generate ...

Make sure you set your windows to pure white and 100% transparent on both front and back faces. The render you posted desn't seem right to me, can you post a screen shot of the Illumination settings? at 300 samples, it should look really nice. perhaps you could PM me your skp file and I can do a ren...

Re: So what's this little rectangle??
oh that one, ok, that's the material preview box, when you hover your mouse cursor over the materials in the material list, it brings up that little box with the material preview. Not sure why it does that sometimes but it doesn't affect the render.

Re: So what's this little rectangle??
usually it's got to do with geometry, like there is another object on the other side that is touching this face, or the face is doubled up.

We do not have such software but if you know how to program in Pascal, you could use our BrownRecluse software to do just that.

Re: problem with installation
Raylectron is only for Windows so it won't work on Mac unless you use Apple's built-in Boot Camp program to partition your hard drive to dual-boot Windows and MAC, or other software that allows to run Windows in a virtual environment from your MAC OS.

Re: BW barks up all branches of the folder tree
I use v6.3 and scanning just the PDF works. The directory of the PDF doesn't work not because BW isn't capable but because the server doesn't allow directory indexing.

Re: BW barks up all branches of the folder tree
You have to find the page where all the PDF are listed in order to get them. Like your PDF link example, what was the page you found it in?
