Re: Issue with Lighting intensity
oh I see what you mean, yes, when it's rendering, it's using all CPU power so the interface slows down. Right click to enter the value is the way to go for this one. It doesn't seem to do that with many other dials, like in Post Processing.

Re: Underside colour
:o :o   WOW, these are beautiful renders!!! congratulation!!! The normal map have to be loaded in Raylectron. First, you load the texture in Sketchup, then when you export to Raylectron, open the Material Editor and bring that texture, then load the normal map. For the ceiling in the r...

Re: Underside colour
did you set the sun position to match the sun position in the env map?
10 samples is way too low, not enough data, you'll need a couple of hundreds for it to be correctly rendered.

Thanks
You can find the setting in the Rendering options "Trace Path".
What kind of illumination are you using? sun/sky? environment map?

Re: It's all gone very quiet?
I appreciate your anticipation but you need to remember that we are redesigning Raylectron from scratch using our experience in making v4, v3 etc. So it is a huge change taking a lot of time and to weed out any errors, that means, do some codding and to dump it later to make a new perfected one, for...

I am not understanding your request. Are you having problem entering your registration information or are you having problems using the software?

Re: Lighting option
oh I see, you mean the glare/glow around the light, the optic lens effect of the camera. Not currently but this is in the works for v5. However, you could save the render image with layers and in Photoshop for example, you can create that effect for the light layer and put all the layers together fo...

Re: Objects not showing up in rendering
Turn off the Section Cuts in the Rendering settings. If you gave them off in Sketchup, they will all be turned on automatically in Raylectron.

Re: Section cuts on batch render
I see what you mean. Until we change it, the only fix for this is to load each scene, enable section cuts in the render settings and save the scene using the same name... 1. Open the Rendering setting tab 2. Click on the Scene icon and select "Scene 1" 3. In the Rendering settings, enable ...

Re: settin DPI
300DPI by itself means nothing for resolution, it only means you have 300 pixels per inch. In order to set the proper resolution, you need to know what the output printing size is, for example, an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper that you need to print at 300dpi on it, so 300*8.5 and 300*11"...

Is it Alt? ok, it's a hack, it was not suppose to be public, it was for testing and we forgot all about it but yes, we should make it public now!

Re: rendering a portion of a model
We have something better... 1. Make sure you have "Use OpenGL" selected in the "Options" menu. 2. Enable "Performance Mode" on the toolbar. 3. While holding down the CTRL key, draw a box around the object or area you want to render. 4. Remove the "Performance mode&...
