Re: slow rendering

Not talking about Michael Smith. I know he is no longer there. I was talking about the other Michael. No I haven't updated to 4.99.11 yet. I know I have been using the CPU version since Michael Smith installed it for me at the time via TeamViewer. Dumb question, shall I uninstall the current version...

slow rendering

Hello, I rendered a few interior scenes of a restaurant I designed a few weeks ago and Raylectron was working fine and really fast with all setting doing what they were supposed to do. I tried rendering another scene yesterday and it was really slow. Regardless of how long it rendered( sometimes it ...

Re: A detailed video on how to do an interior animation

Thanks much. I tried making one with 10 different scenes, but at 30 frames per second, 50 samples, the message was saying it would take 36 hours to make the rendered animation. That is too long to wait!! Has there been a faster processing with the latest V4 update for the animation part? Thanks again.

Re: Bouble image rendered

Yes, most glass in this conceptual model are single faces. I created a solid white color and named it glass and had the transparency at 10%. Then selected both faces of all single glass faces and applied the glass material( so they are both glass material on front and back, just in case I wanted to ...

Bouble image rendered

Hello there. This message is for Michael Smith if he is around. I have a Sketchup model like a car dealership displaying cars inside a glass building. If you look at the SU model, you see only one SUV shown. But when I render it all the other cars render fine except this SUV which seems to be render...

Hello again,

Just wondering if Michael Smith is back? I think someone mentioned that he would be back at the end of summer. Any idea when he would definitely be back?

Thanks again.

Re: Question on slope grass

Hi Michael, I wanted to test render the grass tool before going for my real project. I created a square face as ground, deleted the inside face so what i am left with are the boundry lines. Then I used the "from Scratch" tool to set the divisions to every 5' lets say, and created a grid fa...

Re: Interior Rendering

I am currently rendering the same image with the way you did your watermark object in the video and I did exactly that with resizing and so on. For the image already posted, I used the Raylectron watermark applied through the Raylectron settings and I didn't get a chance to see if I can manipulate t...

Re: Interior Rendering

Michael, Just saved the latest versions. Did I understand you correctly that we no longer have to mess with the front or back faces for windows? If yes, then how was that managed this time? I am really interested in the technical explanation of that. I tried a few minutes rendering yesterday after I...

Re: Interior Rendering

Just got back Michael. So if you are up to it please give me a call. If not I understand and try to work out the model with a great video you posted for me. You won't believe how many times I used the fix faces tool so it might have gotten mixed up. But I was pretty sure I assigned the white wood co...

Re: Interior Rendering

Well hope you'll feel better and you can always call me when you are better. There are few questions I have that would crystallize in my brain better with talking rather than writing. So feel better and talk to you later. Thanks much for the video. Haven't had time to watch it yet.

Re: Interior Rendering

Hi Michael, Had enough time to test render the kitchen model again. I didn't want to use the one you corrected and posted it for me. I wanted to test render the one I have modified a bit to see what happens to my window glasses and the interior cabinet glass. I even placed a background image/waterma...
