Re: Interior Rendering

Alright then. I'll try it once more. But do I uninstall the 64bit version first and then install the 32bit version? Even if it is a DLL in my system, since the last software installed would be Raylectron (after uninstalling the current one and reinstallin the new one), then tthere wouldn't be a new ...

Re: Interior Rendering

Well, I did it as your previous suggestion of renaming the existing exe file to Raylectron.good.exe and then placed the 2nd exe file you sent me into Raylectron folder and ran the program. Still does the same annoying message, however it didn't crash meaning I can still save the image and hence no l...

Re: Interior Rendering

Did as you suggested but had no effect. It didn't crash and I still get the annoying message. I could still save the image in the second go around. Off to lunch now and will be back soon.

Re: Question on slope grass

2. That's trade secret :) it picks it up from the material assigned to the base. I don't understand what you mean by material assigned to base. What base are you talking about? The Dog's base color or the base object/material that the dog is standing on? I think you are talking about the dog's base...

Re: Question on slope grass

Few questions for you:
1- Will you be puting up a video for doing the grass tool?
2- How did you get two different fur colors on the dog? It looks great.
3- Will we have a frosted glass material in the Raylectron material or how would you go about it?

Re: Interior Rendering

Hi Michael, Thanks again for bearing with me and my computer the other day. Thankfully I can at least render now even though I still get the annoying Control-c hit message the first go around. I don't even dare to run the version you emailed me to see if it gets rid of the message or not. At any rat...

Re: Interior Rendering

Hi Michael, Its almost 11 pm and I finally went ahaed and uninstalled the whole Reaylectron. I also deleted it in the registry and rebooted the computer. Then I reinstalled the regular 2.66 version and thankfully I am back to my normal way of saving the image. I still get the Control-c hit message (...

Re: Interior Rendering

Hi Michael, My nephew was here tonight and sat down to help troubleshoot this with me. We ran across a number of cases as follows: 1. Recent attempts to render from Sketchup result in a dialogue box stating that the last saved settings predate the model file. See image one. I had not seen this until...

Re: Interior Rendering

Michael,
I just found out where the sandbox icon was within the dialog. Very confusing. It was under advanced settings. Now what should i do? Here is an image.

Re: Interior Rendering

Alright. I uninstalled all the other apps and installed Comodo Internet security Premium as you suggested. Got bunch of icons on my desktop like Comodo Dragon, GeekBuddy, AntiError, Shared Space, Virtual Comodo, and Comodo Internet Security along with a little comodo screen on the top right corner o...

Re: Interior Rendering

Hi Michael, My IT man installed UVNC while back so I already have it and I don't mind that at all. As a matter of fact I wanted to ask you to do the same thing. However when I go to my UVNC I see a lot of icons and have no idea which one would connect me to yours. It would be nice if you could call ...

Re: Interior Rendering

I double click an rof file which has the Raylectron icon on my desktop. I believe the icon was at the bottom of my screen and that was why you couldn't see my double clicking it. The strange thing is that I was doing fine with the previous version which was 2.645 up to about a month ago. Then I trie...

Re: Interior Rendering

Hi Michael, Just did it again and the same thing happened. I always had to click the save image as twice, but it never kicked me out of the program like this time. The version is the latest 2.66 even though your website says 2.65. The video driver is up to date and still no go. Here is a little vide...

Interior Rendering

Hi Michael, Something strange has been happening for a few times already and it didn't happen before. I am trying to render a kitchen interior just as the ones I posted once (black and white) as default rendering without tweaking anything. As you are aware and might still remember, once i stop the r...

Re: Question on slope grass

So if that is the case Michael, when do you think your developers will be done resolving this issue? Would it be another months? Six months? One year r? The reason I am asking is that this issue is quite important for exterior renderings and if what you claim is true, then once your developers come ...

Re: Question on slope grass

Thanks much Michael. This is all nice and quite useful when you have a flat rectangular/square shape. But when it comes to irregular shapes with curves and so on and also not flat, then there would be a problem. Exactly when do you think this grass tool will be available? I might have to invest in a...

Re: Question on slope grass

Michael, You lost me with your example of "...6'x6' square and grass it..." Then push/pull the sides and not top and bottom!? How can I push/pull the sides of a square shape when the square is only a face? Or am I not understanding this correctly? And then after you mentioned to push/pull ...

Re: Question on slope grass

Hi Michael,
No I haven't had a chance to try it yet. Does it still have the same issue with grass blades going all over the place when we were using the grass components? I'll have to try it in a landscaping context.
Patiently waiting.

Re: Question on slope grass

Hi Michael, That is great and this instancing would be quite useful. One question though. Is there a site that one can download free rear 3D tree files that can be opened in Sketchup and rendered nicely in Raylectron? I know there are bunch of trees in 3D warehouse but it doesn't render as nicely as ...

Hi Michael,
So when are we going to have the easy grass material and the instructions? Or is it out already and I am missing it somehow?
Thanks,
