php links to download zips

BlackWidow scans websites (it's a site ripper). It can download an entire website, or download portions of a site.

php links to download zips

Post by sbdallas »

So I have this site, and I've written a filter to just download the links that look like this...

http://members.something.com/download_z ... b2::Donkey

It works fine, but what actually gets downloaded is a file called...

download_zip.php.D64E543E

Now, this file is a valid zip file, I just have to change the extension to .zip and open it. But, is there any way to make BW name the above file Donkey.zip when it downloads it?

Thanks,
Scott

No because this is the file name the server sent back. Some server do send the proper file name but not all. You can see if it does by looking at the "Save as" header of the file list in the Structure, if it's blank, BW will use the file name from the URL, if it's not blank, it will use the one listed which was provided by the server.
