what string do I use to search directories that have spaces in their names

Post by HOTRIODMOT » Sat Jul 04, 2015 3:13 pm

Hello
what string do I use to search directories that have spaces in their names like H:User's\ROD ROD\Pictures\PNG HOLD\*.PNG ? so I can move the non-matching files to H:User's\ROD ROD\Pictures\PNG HOLD\*.png plus I don not want to delete the matching *.png from the H:\User's\ROD ROD\Pictures\PNG HOLD\*.png directories. And select delete all but not the files from H:\User's\ROD ROD\Pictures\PNG HOLD\*.png directoriy

Thank you

Rod

*copy copy*.png should do the trick.

In the examples you provides, none of the file names have "copy copy" in them. If you can list me real file names and which one you want to tag, I can better help you.

no problem. It's better if you make a new post so we don't get mixed up with the old one.
