Need to batch rename multiple images.

With NameWiz, you can rename files en-masse in either a single folder or all sub folders. Change the file extension, make all names lower/upper case, replace, remove, insert, delete, move or swap characters, add prefixes and suffixes, or replace the names altogether with sequential names of your choosing.

Need to batch rename multiple images.

Post by avalanch »

I need to try to replace the space characters with -'s. Example:

Rayman 2 - The Great Escape (USA) (En,Fr,De,Es,It)
TO
Rayman-2-The Great Escape-(USA)-(En,Fr,De,Es,It)

Also in this case I noticed it would have put in two -'s instead of one, any tips?

I used the following settings and all works fine (note that the "this" field has a space in it which of course is not visible in the screen shot)...

Hi thanks, is it possible to setup macros? Like for instance I type in what I want to be removed in a macro and with a press of a button it's entered into the replace/remove fields.

Unfortunately not, but we are thinking on adding presets where all of the settings can be saved and then recalled, more like a macro if you like.
