Compare files ignoring extension

This file synchronizer will generate a report of all differences between two drives/folders. This includes any missing files, modified files, duplicate files and duplicate files with date conflicts. it is ideal when comparing for example, your work files against a backup to make sure the backup is up to date.

Compare files ignoring extension

Is there a way to get Comparator to compare the files in two different folders and only compare the filename? That is ignore the file extension. So and File1.png would be seen as a match.

No it will not because its use is primarily for updating backups, say, saving your work on your laptop and then from your laptop to your home PC and visa-versa. However, our CloneMaster software will do that as it is used to find duplicate files no matter the file name, file extension or date.
