Hi I am practising my render skills so am trying to emulate others renders. I have attached an image I am trying to get close to but without post proscessing. Could you give me ant pointers how to get close to this burnt in lighting in Raylectron? I am aware he used Photoshop in this but I am experimenting how close I can get without PS

Thanks

to get this effect, you have no choice but to use Post Processing (exposure or combinations of the other settings too). The only other way to make it "too" bright is by using the White Env Map and no portals nd eveen maybe set the Env Map power higher.
