SketchUp doesn't notice the installation of Raylectron

Post by welomoedia »

Hello,

I tried to install the free version of Raylectron to test it. Unfortunately SketchUp doesn't show any submenu in "view". I tried to reinstall it a few times and checked the installation path. But I don't find the cause of the error. Do you have an idea?

Thanks!

Hello,

Can you look in your Sketchup plugins folder see if you have any files and folders for Raylectron?

Sometimes you don't look for the simple solution. Raylectron created another "program-files". It looked just identical to the original path. I don't know why it did that.
Thank you for your help!

What do you mean? another "program-files"? What language is your OS?

If you install the 32bit, then it will install it in the "Program Files (86)" folder, but if you install the 64bit version, it will go in the "Program Files" folder. In either case, the Sketchup/Plugins/ folder should still load the RaylectronLoader.rb file!
