my main goal is to restore demolished or destroyed buildings in 3d. so people stil have something of it.
i also did a replica of an industrial coalmine that once stoot not far from my home

and you do all this with some photos and blueprints? That's a very interesting line of work, not to mention the memories it brings back.

I like what you have setup at wordpress.com, I just looked at the wtc work you did, I must say, wow, that's quite impressive work. I can just see them all rendered, it would be really awesome.

the render looks oke for me now. tommorow a new day and new render time :D.
caint wait for the new update. than i should be able to make animation in this qwality or better

They look really, really nice, very detailed too, and no grain. Excellent work.

The v3 update will not be way faster, just a little. It's very difficult to make it fast without loosing quality and details. But when we find a way, we provide a new update.

im now rendering the inside of the south tower lobby. i see i have to detail te ceiling a bit more. and instal more lighting

This looks really nice. I do have a suggestion to speed up the render when using that many lights. Do not make them emitters, instead, create a rectangle below them, covering many of them, say 20, and make that rectangle an emitter but make it 100% transparent so it can not be seen. You'll get the same illumination with fewer lights. I'd imagine you now have 100+ lights, same adding rectangles at the right places instead is much faster.

this is after 4 hours and 4000passes. i realy need a better grapics card. but 999dollars for the hd7990. hmm
