Setting size of rendering?

Post by remo_campopiano »

How do I set the size of a rendering.

Right now my renders are saving at about 1000px by 500px at 72ppi

I need to render at least 10 times this size, for example...

2000px by 500px at 300ppi

Am I missing something...there does not seem to be any place to set the render size?

It's on the top right corner of the viewport, it's a button with the render size showing, and with a little arrow next to it, click on that button.

I am using v3...

I did find the size and a link in the bottom right corner. It has several options, all say not available in the free version.

Is this limitation also the case with v4?

I can't yet pay until I know this will do the job. But I will be able to if it becomes the tool that I use to render sketchup models.

I may have a machine that will run v4....I will try to set it up if there is no size limitation.

That is correct, the free version has a size limit which is the only limitation (no time limit). The full version has no size limitation. This apply to both v3 and v4. We did it this way so you can take all the time you need rather than having a 30 days trial where you may not have the time to test it fully within that period.
