Choppy model view

Post by Lone_Wolf »

I have just bought a new beast PC compared to my old PC, for some reason it performs worse then my old PC. I think its because on my old card (Gforce 460 SE) I have the option of turning on OPEN GL and panning the model in performance mode fly's. But my GFORCE 760 SC 4GB card does not have that option when I open the same model with the same version of raylectron. NVIDIA says this card has open GL 4.3. Please help, this is frustrating when a 10 year old PC out does my new one. I have updated my drivers as well so I don't think its that. Unless their are separate drivers specifically for OPEN GL. :(

I think I know the problem, make sure that "use OpenGL" is selected in the "Options" menu. There are two ways to use the "Performance mode", with OpenGL and without. But this is only available in the CPU version because the GPU version is already fast when in "Performance mode".

The option isn't there like it was on my old card. I have both CpU and GPU versions, cpu installed last, but the option for open GL isn't there.

Have you installed v4.5? The GPU version doesn't have that option, only the CPU version, it was always like that so you must had been using the CPU version then.

I mean the version number, we are at 4.50 so you may be using v4.30 or something. so yes, you should update it.
