Hello,
a newbie question, but I am out of any ideas.
I have Win 8.1, Sketchup 15.3.331 64bit and Raylectron v4 installed via Extension file.
I see the toolbar, but I do not see anything in the VIEW menu,
What am I missing? How can I open the Raylectron material editor to create some lights or modify materials in Sketchup?
Thanks
cannot activate Raylectron Material Editor
Re: cannot activate Raylectron Material Editor
Hello,
All material editing is done in Raylectron so you can view the result right away. You can assign all your textures in Sketchup, but for shine, reflection etc. you do this in Raylectron after you click on the "Punch" icon.
If you want Raylectron to recognize a material for a light, you can name your material "Emitter", "Emitter - ceiling" etc. As long as the material name begin with "Emitter", Raylectron will know it's a light.
You can do the same with the global material in Raylectron (accessible via the "Convert this material" drop down list) by using the same name in Sketchup, for example, "Mirror", "Glass" etc.
