Mirror only - strange problem?

BlackWidow scans websites (it's a site ripper). It can download an entire website, or download portions of a site.

Mirror only - strange problem?

Post by r3x0 » Sat Sep 10, 2016 6:33 am

Hi,
I'm trying to rip a whole site to run off-line, but the problem is that blackwidow keep the links linked to the real website (Use for example the original online CSS/JS instead of the off-line copies downloaded)

There's an option that allow to completely copy a website offline without use the original linked files (So changing the HTML code with the link to offline files)?

Thanks for the help ;)

Hi,

With the way website works now, it is almost impossible to download a website for offline browsing and BW doesn't support doing this. The reason is, most websites are PHP driven, using server side scripts, and JS also contain scripts that generate links dynamically all of that can't be converted to local links.
