You need to exit both, Raylectron and Sketchup before running the installer.

Re: Files missing
It's best to use the CPU icon because it's an installer. The Sketchup icon is an rbz file that you need to load using the Sketchup extension.

Re: Files missing
Thanks :) Every time we upload a new build, your Raylectron will tell you that there is a new version. Right now, we have build 14 so if you don't have that, you can go to https://raylectron.com and get the update. Do not uninstall first so it can keep your key and after installation, you don't need...

Re: Files missing
oh! I don't know what happened to my reply but it's gone!!! ok, if you have problem with login, click on "Forgot password" and it will email instructions. I would use the full installer so it can place the materials/hdri in your Documents folder. If you use the RBZ, it will simply be in th...

Re: Performance optimization
Hello, I would go with the CPU version because it's an 8 cores, 16 threads and it will be fast, especially in grain free mode. As for the settings, it's model dependent so perhaps you can ask me for each model. If you were not able to install the update, close Sketchup and Raylectron, make sure they...

Re: Raylectron - stand alone version not working
Are you using build 13?
I have no problems loading OBJ files in Raylectron on Win10.
Can you PM me one of your OBJ so I can try it here on Win10?

Re: Raylectron - stand alone version not working
If you look at the status bar, it shows there are 0 faces, that's why nothing is showing up. If you can PM that OBJ file I can then find the problem as to why it shows 0 faces.

Re: not rendering the whole skectup view/scene
Maybe you need to resize your Raylectron window if there are scroll bars in the viewport. I didn't get any screen shots. I have tested it again and it export the correct ratio! Are you using build 14? and which SKP version are you using? Yes it's normal for the grass. You just need to set less of th...

Re: not rendering the whole skectup view/scene
Can you send some screen shots of the SKP view and the Raylectron view so I can see what you see? I have no such problem on my end. Maybe you have section cuts ON? or had a previously saved settings for that model? If you set the view to 50% from the resolution drop down menu, you should get it the ...

Re: Acess violation error...
It was bothering us for a long time as well. It turned out to be a typo in the Sketchup API documentation! the update (build 13) should work fine now.

Re: Round edges
I get what you are saying and that's why there are software like Lumion and Twinmotion which will give nice results and fast. Raylectron wasn't designed for this, it was designed for another reason, otherwise, we would have use The Unreal engine and do like everyone else. The grass in Raylectron was...

Re: Round edges
With the model being triangulated to begin with, it will never look 100% like real life because no matter the render engine you use, triangles are flat and it's surface shape is approximated. Now, there is nothing perfectly sharp, not even a razor blade, you look at one under a microscope and it is ...

Re: Round edges
No there isn't as it doesn't change the geometry. Do you have a screen shot of how fake it looks? Perhaps round the edges in Sketchup first. I always tell the designers to model as it would be in real life and the render will reflect this work.

That's just it, the materials listed in the drop down comes from the default materials upon installing Raylectron, in the folder of the icon next to the drop down.

Re: Materials has dissapeared fro raylectron
If you just download the full installation EXE, not the RBZ, it will reinstall the material folder. Uninstall the one you already have first so there isn't 2 copied in 2 different place. Have you done a search on your C: to find that folder so that you don't lose the materials you created?

Re: Materials has dissapeared fro raylectron
Have you installed it using the EXE once before when you had all the materials and then installed the update using the RBZ from within Sketchup instead?
