I didn't get a notification on this one!!!
Very cool story and no, the missiles are not too close together.
The one thing I think is missing is a planet. Because it looks like deep space and the ships are not the deep space style. Or am I wrong?
Either way, I like it very much, well done ...

ah, yes, that would make sense. My brain got lazy a bitOkwa wrote: Sat Apr 12, 2025 1:43 am Since the city relied on orchards as a source of food, in addition to the wheat fields, I found the amount appropriate, “historically correct” so to speak.

I live these much better Chris.
But, I think you should still have a few big trees around, not many, so it doesn't look too deserted. What do you think?

wow, you almost fooled, I thought this was a picture of some place. I like the wall on the 1e but the shine makes it look metallic.
The layout is perfect, the trees, the structures, everything. Is this an actual reproduction of something that existed?

ah, but they do look like closed doors
But now I can see the bit of shadows at the top right of them and now I can see the proper perspective. Amazing how we can be so deceived, like, is it a 6 or a 9 kind of thing, depend on the view angle.

wow, this second one is really, really nice. Very peaceful, doors closed of the left, because it's quiet. The reflection on the water is not too busy either, it's nice. You did a super good job here Chris

Well, I don't think it's a WIP. Sometimes, simplicity is just as good and different. I really like it just like that Chris. It's really pleasant for the eye. Like, peace after the war. Well done

Taylor beat me at it. I was going to reply exactly that. I've been off the net because wife fell on ice and broke her shoulder, so she can't do anything, so I do everything now, for another month.

God's rays. Also on the first picture of this post here: https://softbytelabs.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=2252 :D
But it took some fiddling to achieve this result. Not only in Raylectron, but also in designing the “emitter” correctly in Sketchup. It has to be a disk that has a diameter, whose size ...

Ah, I don't think so. It's just a fun little trick you can do every now and then, and one can always post it with the real picture afterwards. But a forum just for that? I'm not sure about that, to be honest.
In the meantime, I have tried to have various pictures made into videos ...

Maybe we should start an AI forum that animates your renders? Not to replace the models though. What do you think?

Re: When do you know you've messed up?
It's really cool but Chris, I found something you may like. I used KlingAI to animate your render. It's not exactly what I wanted but since the scene isn't rendered for that, it's still came out cool, what do you think?

The design is awesome, love it. The only thing I wish is if it had more "colors" as opposed to the same gray everywhere? Maybe some darker areas, some reflective areas too maybe? do I make sense? Because you have to reply of shadows to see ...

This is the result. Although I'm not sure if it's really better than the previous version.

Re: When do you know you've messed up?
As a good friend used to say: "You can be stupid. You just have to know how to help yourself!"
I don't have to rebuild the space station at all. I still have the file from Raylectron with the scene. So, I only have to reset the textures of the space station in Raylectron. That improves a lot. And ...
