Stargate Animation

So I made a Stargate from scratch in Sketchup and it came out pretty good in the render I think. The only thing is I forgot to make the Event Horizon a component so to hide it and only unhide it when it comes on, so I'll make another render some other time. I didn't make the addresses yet so that wi...

Roger that :salute but when I save my Skp model, it does save the states of the section cuts and keeps them that way after a reload!!

Re: v5.2 animation preview

Advanced animation and (I'm guessing) god rays that can be used as engine exhaust? NOICE! You got it yes, God's ray can be used in the animation, CPU only though, for now, I'm working on making for the GPU as well, the Stars first, then the Planets, then the God's ray, then mountains and textured g...

GateGirl86 wrote: Fri Jun 09, 2023 8:00 pm On my bucket list. Do you think we could do a cockpit view, with the 302 chasing say a Dart or Glider? (I have both) :salute
Virtually everything is possible. If the script can't do it, I'll make functions for it so that it can!

Thank you Michael and please, you have to take a lot of credit for this yourself. :salute <3 All of this wouldn't have been possible without you. It's because of you I had the desire to make animations and push my programing knowledge. I appreciate you put my name on the video <3 but I'm not after ...

Okwa wrote: Fri Jun 09, 2023 5:07 am @Support Many Thanks. Mmmh, I'm a little confused. Do you think I should do a real close-up, or as GateGirl says, I should pull the camera back a bit? :D Sry, my english is
I was thinking a close-up yes, since you were referring to the landing gear.

Re: IUSP Infirmary

Let's see. From individual rooms to a view of the entire interior, that's quite a difference. But to be honest, I've already done something like that for a gun turret. See the image below, but this is only a 2D export. I had a problem with the section cut, but I forgot to ask you if you know a solu...

Re: 'round corner" funcion?

I understand your point, but wouldn't it be easier if you incorporated rounded edges directly into the model? My concern is that I do not want Raylectron to automatically round off things or require a setup to manually select which edge(s) to round and by what amount. In my opinion, it would be more...

WOW, I just searched for it and found his painting, you sure got the eye for perfection because it looks just like the painting, with a few missing thing but the shape and all, identical. Very impressive Bryan, very impressive, considering you did that from a painting only :o :o :o

Re: The Lone Raider (BSG)

Busy (work and life) and under the weather (allergies). The current model has been giving me fits trying to get the compound curved surface just right. I've been working on it for two months. I see I've missed a lot! Good thing you don't live in Canada where I live, we are under fire, smoke is ever...

Re: BC-304E 'Evolution' wip

You should also not texture it yet so you can see the front and backs faces so that you can correct that if you see back faces. The ship should be all white(fronmt), no blue (back).

I made the lights tiny as you wanted but they're not very visible! They should be about 20-30cm like I had them but you like them tiny and they don't work
