Re: Test new design concepts
Let me ask, if you start Raylectron without a model, just the default ocean, you can go to Post Processing and enter 10,5 for Intensity and it takes it in and display it as 10,5 and if you then go to Clouds and enter 0,5 for Cirrus Clouds, it doesn't take it in and reset to zero? No, with the ...

Re: Test new design concepts
No, even then the European numbering system does not work. With one exception, but this exception always applies, I have just checked it. In the tab ‘Post Processing’ the European numbering system always works! No matter which file, no matter how I start Raylectron. Confusing. I had noticed it once, ...

Re: Test new design concepts
I have checked the respective models several times for errors. Everything is fine. But now that you mention it, I solved the error the first time it occurred by reapplying the textures to the models, even though I couldn't find any errors. Then it loaded the textures correctly for now. Until I ...

Re: Test new design concepts
No. What I described was with the beta installed. But (!) if I think about it correctly, the error had already occurred once before with build 114. With exactly the same .skp file (or the same models) and the same .rof file. The problem seems to have been fixed when I loaded models from another ...

Re: Test new design concepts
@Support I have just noticed a strange error. Only with one file so far. I wanted to let you know anyway. But I'll try to see if the error also occurs with other files. When loading the models from Sketchup to Raylectron, there were several loading errors. First a model was loaded with the wrong ...

Okwa Here it is along with two renders of the Nebula. In the first, the Sun's Glare is set to zero and the second is set to its default of 30 so you can see where the sun is... Nebula & Sun - 0.jpg Nebula & Sun - 30.jpg https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VjHzc8wpH2KPTLdaXrTLcAEiaJ62Wag9/view ...

Re: Test new design concepts
Many Thanks. The design certainly fits in somewhere. I will definitely keep the model. I can't wait to see what you'll come up with :salute The gray spot with the ring around it always appears when I position the sun with “set by mouse click” in a stars sky. When using the nebula it is very clear. I ...

Re: Test new design concepts
@Support Hey Michael, how do I get the ‘sunspot’ out of the image? :D  Very nice design, and I hope you will find a way to use them because they are NICE Chris. You have a lot of treasures I haven't seen yet :salute :salute :salute I'm not sure why the sun looks that way (I assume it's the dar ...

Re: WORLDSTAR Cargo Distribution and Logistics Center, Winnipeg
Oh man, Winnipeg's stepping up its game! Who knew I'd be working alongside Tau'ri cargo ships instead of Winnipeg snowplows? I Guess it's time to submit my application to WORLDSTAR (can I send it online?), because I’m ready to trade in my parka for a PT cargo shuttle! :D :salute :salute : ...

Re: Flight of the Icarus II
Many Thanks Michael. :D The best thing about this image is that we can see how far your programme has come. How enormously Raylectron has changed in the last 12 months. And what images are possible thanks to you and your work! :salute :salute :salute Many thanks for that! :salute :salute :salute ...

Re: Flight of the Icarus II
A new version of this scene, created with the latest Raylectron and extended by four F-302 of the latest type. But, I made a mistake. The new image does not show the Icarus-Class, but its older sister class, the Daedalus-Class. Recognisable by the longer hangar pods. Oops. @Support I mistake ...

Re: Camp Aner'i, HQ of the 278th HSOC
I know. Even though it took me a few years. But in the meantime I've gotten into the habit of modeling with components. But I admit that most of my large ship models date back to the time when I didn't use components. This includes my Daedalus in particular. I've wanted to change that for a long ...

Re: Camp Aner'i, HQ of the 278th HSOC
Okwa One of the most efficient ways to create a 3D model is by instancing reusable parts. This technique applies not only to large objects like ships but also to smaller components, such as handles. For example, when modeling a ship, you can design half of the ship and then duplicate and mirror it ...

Re: Camp Aner'i, HQ of the 278th HSOC
@Support Here are the island angles with path depth 24. :D Man, this scene sucks free memory, insane. It looks much better now Chris :salute That's why you should use components and re-use them. For example, the spheres, some of different size, you could make one as a component, duplicate ...

Picture 2: From Pier 1 towards the water and the ...

Re: Camp Aner'i, HQ of the 278th HSOC
I did post the previous version to this version of the picture in another thread, the wrong one. But it doesn't matter now. In any case, I think I've finally managed to build a believable harbor for my HQ of the 278th, haven't I? :D @Support Yes you have but I wish to see more, like a few base ...

Re: Deep-Space-Explorer DSE-304 Daedalus-Class
You mean the 1990's and 1997 part? In the description of the image I write that the SGC was refounded in 2097. In the list, which actually contains my ‘canonical’ data, the SGC was refounded in 2089. Ok, it's just a small mishap, and only I notice it. But still. This kind of thing annoys me. I sim ...

Re: Deep-Space-Explorer DSE-304 Daedalus-Class
The only this is both the Covenant of the Liberated Celestis and the Intergalactic Union of Sovereign Planets are described as the only "real intergalactic powers" in the Milky Way. That's fine in context but could cause confusion since other entities like the United Tribe of Kobol and various ...
