Re: Free Sketchup Plugins
Okwa I've modified Sketch Warp with new settings, and, gave a big fix to how it distort so the edges are not crossing, they can, but nothing like before. Now you have options for in/out too. It's really cool and I think you'll like this one better. If the object is textured, it will go blank when y...

Re: Free Sketchup Plugins
@Support One question: When you set the Face Perforator to 4 segments, the holes stand on the point. This are more a rhombus and not a square. Why is that? I've added Rotation to the Perforator, just re-download the rbz. If you set it to 45, then the rhombus will be square :) takes a bit longer, bu...

Re: Free Sketchup Plugins
oh, that's because it's using the Make Circle function, passing it the number of edges, so the orientation is whatever Sketchup decided it to be! Even is Sketchup, if you use the Circle tool and set the edges to 4, it's make the same, but you can drag and change the orientation though. I'll see if I...

Re: Free Sketchup Plugins
The way the UV works is that it keeps the original size. While the UV scale it to match. Say you have a rectangle that is 10m and the texture is 1m. UV will paint that rectangle so that the texture is tiled 10 time. uV will scale the texture to fit the entire rectangle. Like the Terrain Generator do.

Re: Free Sketchup Plugins
 I used Sketch uV on the texture of the asteroids. :P And the meadow, not to forget. :P oh, because if you use the 2nd UV icon (the right one), it will make the texture as big as it can fit the area so you don't have an repeating patterns, and I see that there are! And the combination of S...

Re: Free Sketchup Plugins
I have updated it again, I added a new item in the Sketchup "Window" menu (Raylectron toolbar settings) that allows you to hide the tools you don't use so the toolbar can be smaller with only the tools you use.

Re: Free Sketchup Plugins
Two simple test images created with the new tool. Image one shows three asteroids. The left and the middle one are formed with Sketchwarp. The right asteroid I created with my regular method for comparison. The light comes from an artificial light source, I wanted an even illumination. Image two sh...

oh and btw, have you had a chance to try that SpiroUp? Maybe that could be used to make shapes like you did above, by exploding the edges and deleting the unwanted ones?

Re: Tubify test renders
I've made it smaller :excited: I suppose so, it's like anything else, my programs looks simple to me to read, because I made it, but to someone else, it's jargon. Same for me if I look at someone else's program. But it's your creation, you just got the idea from that other one, but still, it's not e...

Re: Tubify test renders
:o ok, that's awesome and I can't even express what I feel. If I were to do this, it would take me months, that's if I can ever come up with this kind of imagination and patience to do this in the first place. Looks more complicated than my own programming  Maybe you should babysit more often...

Re: Updated render
LOL! Thanks! I see many good renders across the Internet and I have to keep trying. It's just weird how it's hit and miss for me. I have got to figure out why. It's all about materials and the environment Bryan. Mostly materials. You also have the sun way up, 80 degrees looks like, so it's at its b...
