What kind of background did you use? A photo? An environment map? or a static background?

Really cool ships :salute BTW Chris, they discovered Higgs boson in 2012, but the discovery of gravitons remains theoretical. Elements beyond atomic number 118 (oganesson) have not been discovered to be stable. In fact, all elements beyond uranium (atomic number 92) are synthetic and have relatively...

Re: Let's celebrate the latest version of Raylectron

I seem to remember you trying to create an "explosion" tool before. Last year, when I created an animation in which one of my spaceships found a debris field. And I had created the debris more badly than well by hand. We had already talked about whether a tool like that was possible. And ...

Re: Let's celebrate the latest version of Raylectron

@Alienizer @Support Many thanks. :salute That would be cool. Creating decent debris really sucks in Sketchup. I'm working on that but not sure how to make it work. I can easily make it explode by its groups and components, or, by its triangles. By triangles, it looks bad. By groups/components, look...

Re: Ave Senun'Nai, morituri te salutant

@Alienizer @Support I have to admit, I'm quite uninspired as to how a "photo" of a fly-by should be staged. Or better said, can be staged. But never mind. Raylectron is so fast that you can try out problems. What do you think of this result? What could I do better? I really need hel...

Others will find their way here because AI will feel unnatural to them. Don't give up. Thank you for your kind words of encouragemen...

Re: Let's celebrate the latest version of Raylectron

AI has made impressive strides in generating art and music, but it's unlikely to replace human ingenuity. Human art is deeply connected to personal experiences and emotions, which AI can't authentically replicate. True innovation often involves breaking conventions and thinking outside the box, som...

@Okwa I have to agree with Mike, it doesn't look like it's in space, the lighting is all over as if there is a huge light above. But as you said, it's old and lack of experience. In any case, your new renders are way better now that you are experienced. :salute

v5.3 build 90 (July 3, 2024)

1. updated the rendering engine.
2. Semi transparent objects are no longer rendering with grain in mode 1 (CPU only)
3. some minor fixes and speed improvement.

In this release, you really no longer need to render more than 8 samples, even on the first sample it looks fairly done (mode 1, CPU only).

@Thiago That's because the sky is very blue, add some clouds so the sky more white, and add more shine to the tiles so they don't look so dull.
