WIP: Spaceport

I always post a particularly complex, detailed picture for Christmas. Because of the amount of work involved, I always start in the spring with the respective picture for Christmas. This year it will be a spaceport with several buildings and vehicles. But I don't know yet for which franchise, Starga...

wow, I’m impressed by how you’ve used the spherical starship concept <3 The renders are super nice and to model these, wow, talented Chris :salute Many thanks. Too much praise. :) And praise back. Build 58 has turned out really well. Really fast and stable. :salute Cool design and your composition ...

Star Trek: Kobayashi Maru

I have adopted the "Kobayashi Maru Scenario" for my AU "Spherical Starfleet". Or rather, I explored the origin of this character test for Starfleet cadets in my AU. For those who don't know this AU yet: In this version of Star Trek history, Earth discovers that a spherical starsh...

Re: The (Jaffa)-Empire strikes back II

Much nicer than the other one, Chris. This one has much more, how should I say, life to it? The other one was dull in comparison. It's more vibrant. Many Thanks, Michael. There's just more going on with the additional vehicles. :) But I will make a few small changes. Mainly the positions of the veh...

The (Jaffa)-Empire strikes back II

I have reworked the scene a little. I added another model each of a mecha and a tank, as well as a heavy fighter/light bomber. The smallest mecha, now named the Armetka Mk XXVI, was placed further back, as the standard ground from Raylectron pushes through the terrain at this point and forms a strai...

Re: Concept and design test for spaceport SG fanfiction

wow, I didn't expect this, Chris. That's really amazing how you turn this around. And the windows, perfect. :salute Yes, you can make your own materials and add them to the list. When did I tell you that? Many Thanks. :D I once mentioned in a PM to you that I had forgotten what setting I had used f...

Concept and design test for spaceport SG fanfiction

No story for this scene. I had an idea for the concept of a spaceport built into a mountain for worlds in my fanfiction that have rather warm/hot climates. So tend to be desert planets. While playing around in Sketchup, the design developed more and more into the mountain being almost completely tra...

The (Jaffa)-Empire strikes back

New week, new picture. This time I was inspired, a little, by Star Wars Episode V. Who would have thought it with this picture title? :D An Artada (regiment) of the Free Jaffa Empire embarks on a mission in the tundra of an uncharted world. No further backstory, as most of these vehicles are so new ...

Re: Cardassia

That's weird. But the file is also about 50mb bigger, but that shouldn't affect the speed. I just tried it on my Starlink, and it download at 2MB/s and we're having a bad snowstorm right now, 40km wind and -17c Weird is good. -17°? Winter 2023/24 is the warmest winter in Germany for years. Decades!...

Re: Cardassia

:o did you always have slow downloads when downloading Raylectron?? Only since version 5.3. Before that, it only happened once and this one time I associate with Internet problems on my side of the line. But these problems have been resolved. And, as I said, every download since you put 5.3 online ...

Lost in the turmoil of the algorithm. In other words, still focused on AI art. Posted a few more AI pictures yesterday. At the moment she's still not in the mood for 3D models, I think.
