Re: Ave Senun'Nai, morituri te salutant
Mmmh, ok, I'll give it a try. Well, then I'll give Michael a treat and reactivate Raylectron's animation function. I meant a photo of the fly-by, but if you can make an animation, that's even better :salute :salute :salute "reactivate Raylectron's animation function", what do you me...

Re: The fall of the "Danara's Revenge"
Okwa Well, that's really nice actually and I envy you because, many times I had dreams about a model that is so cool, I wake up all excited, get up and go drink some water then go back to bed thinking about, knowing that I will remember for sure when I wake up in the morning, but I do not, blank, n...

Re: Let's celebrate the latest version of Raylectron
@Okwa Not exactly what I had in mind tho, I was thinking of a ship exploding Maybe Support can make an "Exploder" plugin that can explode an object into pieces

Re: Ave Senun'Nai, morituri te salutant
@Alienizer Many Thanks. It's a nice feeling when you look at your old work to realize that, despite everything, you have made progress in your rendering skills. If you had told me 10 years ago that I could create a image like the Raylectron version of this scene. I would have said "NEVER"...

Re: Let's celebrate the latest version of Raylectron
If AI becomes good enough and humans only produce AI stuff, there will be no more AI training as there won't be anymore new data from humans to train the AI with. AI don't have imagination like we do.

Re: Let's celebrate the latest version of Raylectron
It does for me. But then I have a lot details in my models, so there are many weird edges. Raylectron has done a great job of anti-aliasing since ver 5.0 and doing it faster with each update. Mine are not that detailed and I only have a small monitor, so maybe I didn't pay attention to anti-aliasin...

Re: Ave Senun'Nai, morituri te salutant
@Okwa I really like the original compared to the last one from another render. The nebula and how it light the ships is just right. I would love to see a pass-bye style of it if you can, it's got that look and feel I can't explain!

102 samples. 3 minutes. Traces set to 10. CPU. :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o I seriously thought this was a clip from a movie!!! HOLY COW this looks so darn real <3 <3 <3 102 samples in just 3 minutes :!: :!: :!: Thanks! Yeah, I had to wait for the ribs on rear main thruster to anti-alias. No compl...

Re: Let's celebrate the latest version of Raylectron
@Okwa I'm with you on that, Michael is brilliant, and just to prove it too, as you did with your latest fantastic Danara's Revenge render, this render took 1 second, 1 sample only, sun and nebula (using the CPU version with 8 threads) That's just nuts this new version of Raylectron

Re: Let's celebrate the latest version of Raylectron
oh, indeed I did, I remember now, that was like 3 some years ago  I need to add more RAM in my skull   I can imagine the amount of programming you do just in Raylectron alone (beside the plugins and the other software in SoftByteLabs's website you made, which I bought CloneMaster a ...

Re: Let's celebrate the latest version of Raylectron
Okwa I really like your city, and Atlantis is so awesome :salute I really like this new version of Raylectron, it's so fast to render compared to before. For this scene, I could only get it that nice after 300 samples with the older version and I only needed 20 max this time, just a few minutes com...
