Re: Crash when using high resolution (4K)
Yes, it's all about memory. You have to remember that on the GPU (video card), its memory is used by Windows to display your Desktop, then, for the render, the render image which uses much more memory than your Desktop image do because the accuracy is float not RGB limited to 256 shades per color, t...

Re: Metric/imperial fur grass issues
You should work in meters instead of mm, you can change it easily in the Raylectron Option menu. or if you use meters in Sketchup, it will send that to Raylectron, then you'll have blades per square meter instead in mm.

Re: Texture question
Normal maps provide more information than bump maps, since they can specify direction as well as depth.
A good place to get free texture with their normal maps is...
https://www.filterforge.com/filters/cat ... page1.html
You can tell the normal map because it's bluish.

Re: Underside colour
I think 180 is the minimum for this, I would maybe go 300. From time to time, I take a sample at 200 and then I let it run all night when I go to be and next morning I compare the 200 with the 2,000 and see what's the difference, it gives me a good idea and to me 300-500 is usually enough.

Re: Issue with Lighting intensity
oh I see what you mean, yes, when it's rendering, it's using all CPU power so the interface slows down. Right click to enter the value is the way to go for this one. It doesn't seem to do that with many other dials, like in Post Processing.

Re: Underside colour
:o :o   WOW, these are beautiful renders!!! congratulation!!! The normal map have to be loaded in Raylectron. First, you load the texture in Sketchup, then when you export to Raylectron, open the Material Editor and bring that texture, then load the normal map. For the ceiling in the r...
