Re: Spray can
Beside having some bumps on the surface of the foam and the spray nozzle, you did great and considering the model is sitting in the middle of nowhere with nothing to reflect, it's really awesome Thanks for sharing.

Re: Sun Positions
Well, beside the date or the elevation or the azimuth, I don't see how else you would position the sun. how would you like it to work? If the rendering is not fast enough for you to visualize the sun in the room, you can set the resolution to something much smaller so it render faster, de-select the...

Re: Environment HDR
Hi, No you can not scale it because it is a 360 degree map and the ends meet so the height needs to keep the aspect ratio. You can rotate the map left/right, but you can't up/down because the model will no longer appear on the ground. The reason the map is too big (or too close) is because of the ph...

Re: Raylectron V5.0
As for features, I can't release this just yet, but I can say they are really cool and a necessity. It will be much faster to render and load files, the user interface will be much nicer, simpler and easier to understand. Way more materials to chose from. The rendering engine will be upgraded too.

Re: Render time
Hello,
The render is progressive and will run forever, you stop it when the quality is the way you like it, or if there are no visible difference from one frame to another.
Anti-aliasing is automatic.

Re: Raylectron V5.0
Hi,
it probably will be another couple of months for v5. We did add the 360 panorama rendering in v4.
I'm glad you like the software and thank you.

Have you made sure your portal front face are facing into the room and that they are not touching the actual window? Also, is your window glass transparent on both front and back faces? If you like, I can connect with you using team viewer and show you. Send me a PM (private message) with your ID/ps...

Re: Grainy Rendering
You need to use the "Grain free" mode in the Illumination setting. Also, if you are going to use outdoor light such as the sun/sky, you need to place Portals outside your windows.

Re: Pausing midstream while saving an animation...
Unfortunately not but, we can add a Pause button no problem. For the rendering part, you can stop and start to resume, but not for animation. However, we will add a Pause button for the animation and I'll PM you the update in a day or so. I assume you are using v4?

Re: 360 Camera Rotation
Instead of using the camera y axis to do this, hold down the ctrl key while you rotate the model using the mouse left button to rotate your model on the center axis of the mode, not the world axis.

Re: iPhone render... Improvements?
Set the front face and back face to 100% transparent but for the front face, also set the shine to 10 or more. The diffuse setting will make the frost but you don't want that for the iPhone glass.

Re: iPhone render... Improvements?
All you have to do is in Raylectron, go to the material editor and select the screen material. Then click on "Convert this material" and select "Emitter". If the light does not show, select "Back" because maybe only the back face is visible. That's it, the "Artific...

Re: doubled faces from sketchup to raylectron? cull backface
No it is not doubling them, that's because they are doubled in Sketchup. The face that appear doubles in Raylectron, delete it from Sketchup. Post a screen shot if it is not the case so I can visualize this.
