Re: Westminster Station test render v5.3
ph :o what a big difference. If you leave the light power at 35 and play with the area adjustment, it'll give you more smooth shadows. If you leave the area adjustment to zero and use the power instead, you'll have hard shadows, spotlight effect. Dammit. My bad. I just now realized what this means....

Re: V53 Depth of field test
You did perfect, the positioning is very much like the way we see it in real life.
Thanks, it was hard and took a lot of time to make this new "Mode 1", but I'm happy with it and I'm happy that you are too

Re: Concept and design test for spaceport SG fanfiction
oh yes, I remember, you ask if I could create a thread for materials and I replied with something like "did you know that you can save your own..." or something like that.

Re: Concept and design test for spaceport SG fanfiction
wow, I didn't expect this, Chris. That's really amazing how you turn this around. And the windows, perfect.
Yes, you can make your own materials and add them to the list. When did I tell you that?

Re: lack of light after update
It looks good, and you do not have to let it run for that long, you can stop the render when it looks good or when there are no more visible differences from one frame to the next. Maybe 20 is good enough.

Re: lack of light after update
To make the room brighter, increase the Portal's Area Adjustment. But the sun is not shining inside the bathroom, if it did, it would be brighter.

Re: lack of light after update
Use Mode 1 instead of Mode 2 and for the portal, set the area adjustment to zero. For your light, set the area adjustment to zero and the power to 35, then, only set the area adjustment, not the power as this will make it more spot light.

Re: Tranluscent material

Re: Cardassia
:o did you always have slow downloads when downloading Raylectron?? Only since version 5.3. Before that, it only happened once and this one time I associate with Internet problems on my side of the line. But these problems have been resolved. And, as I said, every download since you put 5.3 online ...

Re: Lighting Issue?
I see that half of it is below the ground, so I moved everything up above the ground. Same result thought, I'm not sure why and I will fix this ASAP. But it works fine in the GPU. Do you have a good video card? If so, try it with the GPU see how it goes?
