Is there a way to select a folder but not the subfolders?
Example:
Given the following folder structure:
C:\
FOLDER_A
FOLDER_B
FOLDER_C
FOLDER_1
FOLDER_2
FOLDER_3
I want to scan only those files that reside in FOLDER_A.
The actual folder structure I am working with has dozens of subfolders, so selecting the top folder and then deselecting all the subfolders is quite time consuming. I tried using "*\*" and "\*" in the "Files to Exclude" filter (with Wildcards selected), but that did not work.
How can one easily select a folder but exclude subfolders?

My example got messed up...
C:\
+-- FOLDER_A
+--+-- FOLDER_B
+--+-- FOLDER_C
+-- FOLDER_1
+--+-- FOLDER_2
+--+-- FOLDER_3
C:\
+-- FOLDER_A
+--+-- FOLDER_B
+--+-- FOLDER_C
+-- FOLDER_1
+--+-- FOLDER_2
+--+-- FOLDER_3
Re: How can one easily select a folder but exclude subfolders?
First time someone has the need for doing this, but beside using the Space bar and the down Arrow key to quickly unmark the sub folders, I see no other way.
I will make the request to add something that will alllow to unmark all sub folders on one go.
