Rendering problem

Hello.
I have been using Raylectron for a few weeks now with better or worse results. It is a learning process. Is there a step by step tutorial where are can learn more advance techniques to create realistic renderings? The one I found are very basic. I am working on a kitchen design now and wanted to see what it will look like in Raylectron. I know I still need to add handles, spotlights, stools etc. What I got after using Raylectron was a fridge that looks like a wall, wondow pelmet just yellow with not visible pattern, the wall tiles which are on the cooker side look like a bluish grey wall and the render is just dark. On the right side you will see a french door. This is where the dining room table is. I can't make the curtains look like curtsins for some reason. I convert them into curtains in Raylectron and change the transparency but it still doesn't look like a proper curtain at all. Please help!!
