Performance optimization

Post by eqart »

Hi,

Could you please advise on the optimal setup for the following configuration? E.g. CPU or GPU setup or any other configuration tips would be much appreciated.

I currently have Dell XPS 15 9500 with 10th generation i7-10875H 2.30Hz CPU, 64GB ram, 64bit OS, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics card.

I currently have the older Raylectron CPU version because the I was not able to install the update.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

I would go with the CPU version because it's an 8 cores, 16 threads and it will be fast, especially in grain free mode. As for the settings, it's model dependent so perhaps you can ask me for each model.

If you were not able to install the update, close Sketchup and Raylectron, make sure they are not running in Task Manager. Try to install the update in Admin mode (right click, run as admin). You can also download the RBZ file, rename it to .zip and open it, then copy it all in your Sketchup Plugins folder where the Raylectron folder reside.
