Feels like there is something missing but, it's cloudy today here and looking out at the garage, the illumination is about the same! Funny how we don't question real life but we look for any problems in a render

It's the light and weathering on the overhead sign and the outer wall cladding. For some reason I could not get it quite right.

Yet checking my reference photo, it's pretty close.

But it's definitely the sign and wall cladding.

I see, the lights are more orange/yellow and the blue from the sky makes it also bluish a bit. In the render, the lights are pure white and so is the sky, you used the default White Env Map?

Yes to all.

This is one of those took me days to get set up. And by days, I think it was actually about a week. So it got to the point where I had to move on.

Not just because of render times, but because SU was lagging and crashing as well.

Yeah, old laptop had reached it limits. SU crashing, hours to set up a render, more hours to render. So yes, about 2 weeks to model and a few more days to set up the render.

But good news! I have a new laptop! Stupid fast!

It was, but it taught me lot about efficiency and economy when creating 3D.
