render with glass box

Post by Thiago »

Good afternoon, colleagues

I have a doubt! (normal).
LOL

I wanted to know because when my bathroom project has a blindex shower (made of glass),
the rendering takes a long time. If I just delete the glass and the render flies.

thank you very much

all the best always

Hi,

Rendering glass in 3D is complex due to its properties. It reflects and refracts light, and light rays bounce within it until they exit at the correct angle. This makes the process more time-consuming.

I've found glass a real pain in the arse to do. What I have discovered though, is if you set the opacity to about 90% that really helps and it still looks like glass.
