Rendering help

I’m posting this on behalf on our daughter. She’s in the Air Force and consequently with her work (as a Doctor) and this Covid thing, she has very little to no time as far as getting online. When she has a break, she’ll spend an hour or so to do some modeling, as she says in her own words, to wind down.
Now she’s asked me to give her a hand and while I have used Sketchup years ago for engineering models, I’m a little passed it to get into the 3d rendering. So I came here in the hope that I could get some help for her.
Currently she’s using the Trial version of RayLectron to see if it’s right for her. And while she likes it thus far for its ease of use; she still isn’t happy with the end results. Basically she said that what she is getting still looks like a Sketchup model, just prettier. I’ve add two screen shots of one of her models.
