Downloaded this starship from the 3D Warehouse, not very detailed but it worked good enough to render it with the new Raylectron skies. No photos, all Raylectron generated.

Another addition to v5, the ground can be textured to infinity, so no need to create a huge ground plane in Sketchup big enough to try to reach the horizon and still see the default ground far away.

Now you can turn the ground into water with just a few clicks...

I was so enthralled with these earlier as you know and I've been busy doing night scenes. I do need to ask though, how do you position the moon exactly? So far for me its been rather random, hit and miss, so to speak.

Go to the "Sun & Sky" menu on the right side and adjust the Elevation and Azimuth and it will update the view even in Performance mode.

Yes I've been playing around with that. But, where is 0,0 as far as my view is concerned?

oh, there is no 0,0 since it's based on your position on earth, defined by the geolocation. It's like that so the sun can be at the right place for your location when given a date/time.

I can't get it to appear at all on my current project, I've tried everything but the moon stays out of view.

Is the Sun/Moon selected in the Illumination setting and is the No Ground also selected? If so, make sure your camera is not set to view up but to view at the horizon (In the Camera setting, make sure the x direction is set to zero), then use the Azimuth to bring it into view.

I'll start over and see what I get with those settings. Thank you for your patience.
