New Laptop wil not run GPU

ok, can you run REGEDIT and go to the following...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\SoftByte Labs\Raylectron4

change GPUDeviceToUse and GPUPlatformToUse to zero and start Raylectron holding down the Ctrl key to rebuild the kernel. What do you get then?

Same thing.

I also noticed GPUMenuSelected is set to 1.

ok, set it to zero and also set ReplaceKernBin to 1 then try without holding the Ctrl key.

I fixed it!

When I forced the rebuild, it failed and then reset the Registry GPUPlatformToUse value back to 1.

I reset again and skipped the rebuild and it launched correctly!

So much faster in the RTX 3050! Almost 100 samples per minute!

15,000 samples at 2 hours. Ray depth set to 4, using the RTX 3050. Exterior HDRI. Eliminate firefly turned on. HDRI brightness at 2.

Any tips? This is slowest render yet and the quality is not good. What have I done wrong? Thanks.

It's your emitters, the power is set too high, put it back at 35 which is the default and try the render without the exterior light so you can adjust the emitters correctly.

or it's your env map that the power is set too high.

Isn't it faster than the GPU? because it's grain free.

It is. I was hoping the dedicated GPU was faster, but the CPU has a Radeon iGPU. I have two GPUs and wanted to compared the two.

So I've switched back to the iGPU and it works fine.

Thanks again for your help. I'm still tweaking my new system. I've only had it for a week and there are so many settings to optimize.
