Re: Old Korean bridge
Thanks!
I'm getting the hang of my new laptop. It has power I'm not used to.
Here's the xray of the model.

Re: Old Korean bridge
30 minutes at 800 passes. Two days at 4 hours each to model and set up the render.
Thanks again. Results are still hit and miss for me, but I'm getting more hits than misses these days. Updated equipment really helps. I can now adjust on the fly instead of waiting hours or days.
Cheers!

Re: Old Korean bridge
wow, it would take days to render with your old laptop. Setup time is not bad at all, it would take me way longer!

Re: Old Korean bridge
I could not have made this scene on my old laptop. The vegetation would have stopped SketchUp cold and Raylectron would have crashed.
Re: Old Korean bridge
Right, I didn't think of that! What's the specs of your new laptop compared to the old one? I'm curious!

Re: Old Korean bridge
Amd Ryzen 7 - 6800H CPU (8 cores, 16 threads), 16GB RAM, DDR4, Nvidia RTX 3050 (4GB RAM, DDR6) and an AMD Radeon iCPU, and a 500GB SSD.
I use the Radeon to render with Raylectron.
