Even though I have done this a hundred times before, for some reason in this case the God's ray isn't working at all?

Can you max out the 3 settings see if anything shows?

Maybe it's the back face pointing out?

Change the Options / Model Units from mm to m and set the Range of the ray to 10 and play with the density. you have the Range as 38mm
