No, the quality isn't quite what I expected. That could be due to the darkness (time of day) I have set. We also lost the 302 lights after about 2 seconds, that doesn't seem right. Otherwise it does look quite good, the only thing I would do if I were able to create it myself, is to have the 302 disappear into the sky, rather than just have the video stop with it in the air. I'll render it again at a different time of day and see what it looks like. I think we can do away with the planet as well, that just doesn't do it justice.

When I loaded your model, it kept on telling me about missing textures, so that could also have contributed to the darkness, no shine etc. I could have left it run longer until the 302 disappear, but this was mostly to test the script.

I know, I had to remove some of them later, the next version should be much better. And the test was great!. A work in progress it is. :salute

If you load that model using the GPU version, how fast does it render? Like, how many frames per seconds, or how many seconds per frames is it's slow?

Nothing really, other than making it look super good rendered so that the animation will be super good as well. For example, everything is gray, so it's kind of dull, I know, you can't make the 302 red :lol: but you know what I mean. Maybe an alien sky so it kills the gray? I remember you asked about if it's possible to have a pink sky, well, it is :mrgreen: :salute

That might help. And no I ain't changing the colour of the 302 :lol:

To change the sky, that is the 'sky gamma' and colour filters isn't it. And do I need to reopen the model in GPU? I have it running at the moment.

Color filters will do, and the gamma to make it more or less fade, you can do that in Draft mode, but not with the Simple Draft for quicker preview of the sky.

If you don't mind to the try it on the GPU , it's just for me to know your speed while rendering, no need to do anything else, open the ROF using the GPU, render and check the status see how many passes it does for x seconds, that's all I need to know, thanks :salute

Mines is still loading. No use, I do have to modify the whole GPU data structure to allow instancing for it to work on models with a lot of instances. :(

Mine just finished loading and it's all crazy, all I see is the pilot :lol:

Maybe you should strip down the interior of the 302 to make loading and animation faster!

I'm going to remove a lot of interior things, those things for the rendered model we just simply don't need. You can't see them anyway. :lol:
