@Okwa @GateGirl86 @BKilburn

I have updated the plugin. The major change is the Platonic Solids. Now there is a new option, to truncate it. So in total, you can make 15 shapes, 3 each (normal, truncated and icosphere).

I also fixed the triangulation so the faces are not triangulated.

I'd love to have your input on how you use some of them, perhaps I can improve on them.
I'm still not feeling great. The heat wave has lasted for weeks. Can't really focus on new things right now. I have all kinds of projects and chores backing up.

I've made a new plugin @Okwa @GateGirl86 @BKilburn and the same download link. Import an image/picture into Sketchup and make a mesh out of it...

I have added a lot of new shapes in the Sketchy Mesh plugin (in the parametric mode), some of which you may find useful...

I think you guys may like the new option for the Terrain Generator. Texturing it properly, not like Sketchup do. Same download link.

Oh WOW! I couldn't think of anything better to say. I'm just blown away!. And while I have been quiet this last week or so, it's merely because my new project has me weighed down. I'll post something up soon.

But I can't wait to try these out. They are going to make SKP modeling so much easier. Thank you so much Micheal! :salute <3

I'll save all those plug ins for something else. I'll have to experiment a bit with them  The current project is a new 304 style ship.

WOW, NICE! It's so clean to be "work in progress", looks finished to me :o

I'm working on fixing an anomaly in the Terrain Generator and the Assets. If you scale the result, lets say, 40x to make it very large, placing an asset on the terrain will also make that asset 40x bigger  and the only way out of that is to first right click the terrain component (after convert the group to one!) and select "Scale definition", then the assets will be proper size. I'm trying to automate that, but to no avail so far :(

Really good job on that new 304, I really like it. How long did it take you to make it?

Still a lot of bits to add yet. You have your hands full, but then, you're a genius, so I know you'll fix it :salute

So far, that is two weeks work. I think about another month will see it at 95% which for me is generally good enough to say its complete.

I gave up trying to find a way, for now, because, I'm working on Raynimation  So you can run your animation script in Sketchup too, not just in Raylectron, it's so cool, I think you'll love it.

Making the Eye of Ra is not an easy task with native Sketchup. I love how you did the iris, you've made more segments for the circle and the balls is all that shows?

Many thanks. This is an old model of mine that I use as the national symbol for the Jaffa Empire. Originally it's just the 2D model you see below. I traced the eye, and the Kopesh sword, from a photo and use them to cut the "national symbol" into the ships of the empire with the draping tool. The 3D version I used for the "Look into the Eye of Ra" image is even easier to create. I simply applied a greeble generator to the 2D model. :D

P.S. Only now do I understand what you mean by balls. The "balls" that "form" the iris are actually reflections. I used the Tubify tool to outline the "eye of Ra" in blue. Then for the texture of the "eye" I set the refraction to diamond and the reflection to 50. I think it was 50.
This is why the blue border is reflected in the "eye", which then looks like the iris is made of balls. :D

oh, I see what you mean now. :salute

The way Tubify works is that it makes a tube out of the straight edge segments and place a ball at intersections. So if the edge segment is the same length as the radius of the ball, you'll get only balls no tubes and that's what I thought you did for the iris.
