starting in render
starting in render
Hi, my name is Thiago, I'm from Brazil, I discovered your plug-in through sketchup, I'm using your render but I'm having trouble with the image grain, I've seen all the tutorial videos, I wanted to know what I'm doing wrong.The image is good, but some things are not sharp and grainy. I will attach the image.
thank you for your attention

Re: starting in render
From my perspective the two images you've post look very good. The composition is spot on. As for the grain issues, I get the same, but how I get around it, is to let the render run overnight. When I come back in the morning, absolutely brilliant. @Thiago pleased to meet you by the way, my name is Melanie.

Re: starting in render
It's a pleasure to meet you too.
I'm going to send two images, one that I made and another that a friend made, I didn't leave the rendering for too long, hers comes out brighter. granulated ensem
Tomorrow I will post the settings if you can help me with that
I thank.
The images are good but I can't imitate theirs.
I see some very good images here on the forum
thanks

@Thiago Welcome aboard
Another reason you have grains is light settings. I always use 35 as the power and make the Area adjustment higher if I want the light brighter. Also, are you using the Grain Free mode? and for the window, did you place a Portal on its opening outside?
Thank you @GateGirl86 for helping

Re: starting in render
and I just realized that the images are very small, 820x410 and making them bigger will introduce grains. So render then at HD size for better results. Also, I think the material settings need to be adjusted.

Re: starting in render
Hi, yes I'm using a portal in the window and this grain free setting and just select it in the lighting tab? Tomorrow I will send a photo of my configuration.
thanks @apoiar

Tomorrow I will send the settings of these images if anyone can help me I would appreciate it.
Is there no file already configured on a website, on YouTube? from Brazil, however, there is only one channel and it is very superficial on the subject

Re: starting in render
Are both images rendered with Raylectron?

@Support "Its what I do."
@Thiago you're most welcome.
As Michael said (Support) a lot of the grain issues, outside of making sure you're running grain free, is with your light settings and I find the best viewport size to use is the 1920*1080 window. That will show you 99% of your errors. But, be patient, you will get there, I promise you that.

Re: starting in render
Very confusing. You are not labeling the images so I don't know which is which. The best way to do this is for you to PM me your SKP file and I can make the proper settings for the render and send it back to you.

ah ok, this one looks really good, there are still grains but it's nice. What is the problem with this one? You did a good job to it.

I also thought it was good, but I can't handle all the images.
