@Support That's a misunderstanding. I don't use AI for the design. I tried it once, but back then I used one of the "art-generating AIs". The result was mediocre at best. What I am doing is using your tools for further redesigns.

Oh, I could have told you that. ChatGPT is very politically correct in its language. And is politically center-left. In case you're wondering how I know that. I read a report a few months ago about a study by a German university. They had asked ChatGPT questions from different psychological tests.
One test was designed to find out the respondent's political views. Result: politically very correct, political orientation: center-left. Quote:

In the political compass test, the answers were also consistently in the libertarian range, as the researchers determined. There were also other tests, including the design of devices and tools. Researchers used ChatGPT to create the design for a tomato harvesting robot.
And other German university wanted to know how good the latest, paid version with numbers had become. This has always been a problem with this AI, which is trained for linguistic topics. For the test, they asked ChatGPT questions from the US exam for accountants and tax consultants. The result: ChatGPT 4.0, the tested version, can pass the exam for tax advisors under US law if it is trained with a few prompts beforehand, probably 10 training prompts were used.

Fascinating, but scary because, eventually, how do we know what's human and what's not? All of the AI's inputs are from humans. Are humans going to lose their sense of creativity when they can have it generated in a second by an AI? Images, music, poetry, conversations too! and oh, strategies in wars, crime etc!!!!

@Support What is it good for? As far as I know, ChatGPT is already being used by various companies, especially small family businesses. Who have no money to hire someone for every office job and now compensate for this with ChatGPT. In the past, there were ready-made sample letters for notices of termination, contracts, applications to authorities, etc. Nowadays, ChatGPT is used instead of sample letters. The Mandrillus use organic spaceships which they have developed from the genome of the animals of their home world and which therefore look like giant versions of these animals.

I have a few characters in my SG-BSG fanfiction that I keep mentioning. Ever since I've known art-generating AIs, I've been trying to depict these characters. This was one of my more recent attempts. The prompt was:
"female officer with natural red hair and bluish complexion, in black uniform with white piping". A very simple prompt by my standards. Oh, I forgot, the picture below, also AI-generated, was the start image. This is one of my best pictures of this character, Col. Alvarado. That is, it looks the most similar to what I have in my head. But this was still created with an old algorithm, which you can easily see from the eyes. It has become much better in the meantime.

Oh, and I'm registered on an online site. I don't want to do any surreptitious advertising in your forum. The biggest disadvantage of almost all AI offerings is that almost all art-generating AIs, such as Midjourney, an algorithm based on Discord, the most widely used and, in the opinion of many, still one of the best, cost something. Make no mistake. It took me about 30-40 attempts before feathers appeared for the first time. You on the first try. However, this animal design looks familiar to me. From some movie, but I can't remember where.
In total, it took me 80, 90 or 100 attempts before these pictures of mine appeared. I can't remember, I've stopped counting. And I've never managed six legs, apart from two attempts. Art-generating AIs, regardless of which algorithm is meant, have three major weaknesses:
1.Limbs. You constantly get extra toes or a third arm or leg grows out of the body somewhere.
2. Vehicles. Especially airplanes. Try to create a picture of an F-18 or something similar. It's hilarious what kind of pictures you get. I am therefore extremely impressed by your F-302-picture.
2. Groups. No matter whether people or vehicles. As soon as more than one person/vehicle is involved, the errors in the image accumulate.

The strength of all algorithms is landscapes, whether wild nature or cities. The algorithms do a great job of that. And I hate to say AI. You can't call it intelligent. The algorithms are so stupid.

I am really impressed by your pictures. The Dall-E algorithms I'm familiar with are sometimes extremely inconsistent in terms of image quality, depending on which website we're talking about. And I love the last picture.

Hey, thanks for the tip, Michael. I gave Copilot a try. It's more of an improved search engine than something like ChatGPT. A search engine that you can talk to more or less normally. But somehow this "AI" (Copilot) feels even stupider than the other one (ChatGPT). But, compared to the standard search engine Bing, it is clearly an improvement. Although, it could hardly be worse than Bing. My opinion.

I only use Copilot for the free DALL-E 3 because the Chat is kind of dumb and a lot of times it tells me "Sorry, but I can not answer that."
