The BSG of my SG-BSG-Crossover Part III

Okay, all good things come in threes, they say. So here's a third image on the "United Tribes of Kobol" theme. This time I'm going to keep the text short and sweet and just show a patrol on the edge of an asteroid field. This also gives me a chance to show some of the smaller ships. :excited:

The patrol consists of a Metis Basestar, an Orion Battlestar, a Hermes Basestar and two Phoenix escort ships. The Orion Battlestar sends two Viper Mk XV fighters and two Raptor Mk XI scouts to explore the core of the asteroid field, while the Hermes Basestar and the Phoenix escorts turn around to patrol the asteroid field. The group of Vipers and Raptors is led by an Aquila Gunship. Aquilas are a larger, more heavily armed version of a Raptor, but smaller and not as heavily armed as the Phoenix escort ships, which are based on the same hull design as the Raptor and Aquila.

To activate the sensors between the two hull sections, the Metis Basestar, which specializes in electronic warfare and electronic countermeasures, has been deployed. Due to the shape of the sensor phalanxes, this is known as "showing the horns" in the jargon of the starship crew.

@Support Hey, Michael. I've since found out why I couldn't use god rays in the other images. Let's call it an operator error.

Indeed. That's why I've almost only used his background images so far.

Many thank, Michael. :salute
Reminds me of my desperate attempts to get the god rays in this picture. And in the end I just used the wrong shape for the projectors. I really should know better by now.
